Honda Takes Minicars to the Next Level

Some of you out there might be aware of the growing minicar segment. It includes vehicles like the Fiat 500, Smart for Two, and Scion iQ. While it isn't the most conventional segment of vehicle on the road today, it's certainly an admirable one. Automakers around the world are showing off their more efficient and minimalist sides by releasing these kinds of vehicles, and now it looks like the Big H is getting ready to throw its weight (or lack thereof) in the ring.
More specifically, we here at Gustman Honda are talking about the Honda N Box, an impressive new minicar that defies many conventions of automotive design and performance within the emerging segment. The N Box features a boxy design, much like the Soul or Cube, both of which are substantially larger. Furthermore, the vehicle also features four doors, which is more than most other mincars do these days. In other words, the Honda N Box is a minicar that seems to forget its size.
Adding to the efficient image of the Honda N Box is the fact that the vehicle is made from 90 percent recycled materials. This means that the vehicle is not only eco-friendly in its minimal use of gasoline, but also in its production. So far, there's no official word on an MPG rating, but Honda assures us that it will be incredible within its class.
Unfortunately, another point that Honda forgot to clarify on is whether or not the N Box will be making a trip overseas to the United States. For now, the vehicle is only set to be released in Japan, but that doesn't mean that the N Box won't catch on here in the U.S. as well. For now, we simply ask for you to stay tuned for more info as it becomes available.
