Honda Expands Production in United States

Honda may be a Japanese automaker, but they produce their vehicles right here in the United States. Models like the Honda Odyssey minivan, Honda Pilot SUV, and Honda Ridgeline are every bit as American made as the vehicles that you'll find from some of those so-called all-American automakers, as they provide jobs for hard-working men and women right here in our backyard.
And, it seems as though Honda likes the way things are going at its plant in LINCOLN, AL, as they're now planning to expand production at the plant. In fact, they're even planning on investing as much as $84-million into the plant, and hiring an additional 100 workers to man the assembly line. The plan has been open since 2001, and it has been one of the best investments that Honda has made in U.S. production.
The plant already employs more than 4,000 workers, and it has a production capacity of 300,000 units per year. However, with this new investment, that production capacity could rise by as much as 40,000 units annually, meaning more vehicles at 2400 W Spencer St. Appleton, WI 54914 and better quality too, not it was ever a concern to begin with.
