Honda Develops Robotics for Future Use

We here at Gustman Honda are big fans of models like the Honda Fit and Honda CR-V like many drivers in the greater Appleton area and beyond. But, did you know that the Japanese automaker also develops advanced robotics? The famous robot, ASIMO has been in development for some time now, and with each passing year, it gains more features and artificial intelligence.
In fact, the robot is becoming so smart that Honda recently opted to show it off at the Honda Robotic research facility in Tokyo recently. The feisty robot displayed its quick reflexes, smooth agility, and its ability to sprint with great speed to the impressed crowd, though that wasn't all it did. Honda actually programmed the robot to play a round of soccer, proving that it can handle complex tasks that require thought and skill.
Of course, the little robot that can isn't all show. Honda truly believes that robots like ASIMO have a place in the working world too. More specifically, the company points out that robots like ASIMO could be used in the event of a natural disaster, like the one that struck Japan in March in order to keep people safe.
There are even reports that the robot's arm can be used to open and closed complex valves like the ones found at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant. So besides the robot's value in the realm of first-response, it could also save countless lives by stopping powerplants from melting down.
Of course, everyone here at 2400 W Spencer St. Appleton, WI 54914 really wants to know is how this new technology could benefit the new Honda models that we know and love? Will we begin to see smarter computers in models like the Honda Civic, Honda Ridgeline, and Honda Insight? Or, would you prefer to drive them the way they are?
Either way, you can take the Honda that you've been eyeing for a test drive simply by getting in touch with us online or by phone at (866) 578-9046.
