Gustman Honda

Honda has been able to reach some great achievements over the years, but if they reach their most recent goal, it would be their greatest. Honda will be trying to create a full line up of plug-in (electric) vehicles by 2012.

Honda wants to increase the ratio of hybrid vehicles to 10 percent or more of total production by 2015. The car maker already hopes to have several electric vehicles going within two years.

Honda may produce their vehicles in Japan - but the auto maker is starting to have production in Europe. Spies on the streets of Offenbach, Germany, were able to snap photos of the new 2012 five-door Honda Civic during testing.

The new prototype shows that the Civic could wind up with a smaller body and wheelbase than the current model.
